Why I Recommend An Adventure Session (Day After Shoot)

An adventure session or day after shoot is something I highly recommend because of the fact that you and your spouse can take relaxed couples pictures without time constraints of cocktail hour and without the mind racing about missing out on partying with friends and family. After your ceremony, you take time to take bridal party pictures, family portraits, and with the time left maybe sunset pictures or rushed couples pictures. Usually these pictures are a ton of fun but let’s be real, you are usually spent after a full day of getting ready then the high emotions of the ceremony. A day after shoot which doesn’t have to be the literal day after, is just an opportunity to recover after the long eventful day that is your wedding day and take pictures that you will love. Also lets be honest, who doesn’t want more pictures in their gallery? You can think of this as an engagement session except as a married couple in your wedding dress and the groom in the tux. It is a wonderful thing to experience and I highly recommend considering adding it on to your wedding package.
